Member i'm also of UK origins, been stateside since the tail end of march this year - dayumn, pork pies. i kinda miss them, though they can be found they're not the same. and the chocolate? don't get me started. having said that, some of the other food is FAB.

Member if the space your living in became infested with mites of any kind due to neglect, what are your rights in the states to confont your landlord?
what can i do? the space im living became infedted with bed bugs dust mites.
i took the initiative to fumigation.

Member ah, as well, there seems to be a problem with the porkcode shortcuts, unless they're for payees only

testing:

pork's



word word



so, yeah, i typed 'pork's' as normal, then typed it and used the PCode shortcuts around it - which doesn't show up and hides the word

same with word pork's word - the [i][/[] hides the word pork's

and finally typed it again, just pork's, and applied the PCode from the menu across the top of the reply box - again, hides the word

Search for Parkers British Food on google. They have a shop in New York but deliver via mail too... their Pork Pies are pretty darn good.

Also had their Lincolnshire sausages, cheese and onion pasty, and steak and kidney pie. All great.

Yea "PCode" is only for paying members currently.

We had to turn it off due to some spammers posting links and images but we're working on bringing back basic "PCode" for non-paying members.

i'll check 'em out, ta! Smile can't complain too loudly, i've been learning southern-style cooking Smile gumbo is pretty awesome. and i've been introducing people to curry, lol.
